Yesterday Biffy Clyro live streamed a performance of their incredible new album 'A Celebration Of Endings' from the iconic Glasgow Barrowlands. After pushing the creative envelope during lockdown with the 'Tiny Indoor Fireworks' promo, Director Oscar Sansom and the band continue their creative collaboration, now breaking new ground in the world of live performance film.
The striking show saw the band perform like never before, playing in several different elaborate setups throughout the venue whilst the audience was put right amongst the action. The band's visceral and characteristically explosive performance is captured in such an intimate and masterful way, creating an incredibly arresting experience that truly captured the essence of a Biffy Clyro live gig. The film was a breathtaking spectacle from start to finish and appears to have set the bar for what a virtual concert can be.
Kerrang called it "a true feat of imagination" whilst another review writes: "If this is the future of concerts, I'm all in" "Biffy Clyro has set the standard for how a live stream should be done, and they pulled it off masterfully."
