Announcing 'Super Nature' - a Forest of Black co-production

We're excited to announce a co-Production with Director & Producer Ed Sayers (founder of Super 8 filmmaking competition Straight 8) and Producer Rebecca Wolff (Grand Theft Hamlet, The Severed Sun, The Sermon)

'Super Nature' is a celebration of wildlife created on Super 8 by people connecting across the world. It’s about people and our connections to nature, filmed solely on Super 8 film.

Filmmakers and nature enthusiasts from all over the world are joining together to share their appreciation of wildlife, leaving modern technology behind and using vintage cameras to film their local environment with as little travel as possible. So while they stay ‘in their own backyard’, not everyone’s backyard is the same. 

'Super Nature' is also one of 12 projects selected by SDI for the Edinburgh Pitch 2023. The project will be presented to an industry panel on Tuesday 13 June. We look forward to sharing more with you soon, watch this space!
