'Starstruck' Wins Best Dance Film at the National Dance Awards

We are over the moon that 'Starstruck' has picked up Best Film at this year's Critic's Circle National Dance Awards. The Scottish Ballet performance is Gene Kelly's love letter to ballet, who originally choreographed the production for the Paris Opera Ballet back in 1960. This incredible work by Kelly has been brought to the screen by Scottish Ballet and Forest of Black in this film directed by Oscar Sansom with additional choreography by Christopher Hampson. Winners were announced at a ceremony in London's Barbican Centre where Kelly's widow Patricia, who worked closely with the team throughout the production, collected the award in person. Big thanks to our incredible crew! Special mentions to:

DOP: David Liddell
Producer Forest of Black: Beth AllanĀ
Producer Scottish Ballet: Tony Currie
