We're so excited that 'Electric Malady' is getting its UK premiere at this year's Sheffield Doc Fest! The moving and visceral documentary film by filmmaker Marie Lidén is a poetic portrayal of a young man living in near-complete isolation in the Swedish wilderness and suffering from an invisible illness, and follows his family's tireless devotion to curing their son. The film is produced by Aconite Productions with Forest of Black as Associate Producer and Cinematography by Michael Sherrington, and was recently had its world premiere at CPH:DOX.
We're especially excited that the film has been chosen as one of the seven favourite films of this year's Youth Jury, and for the film to be in the running for the Youth Jury Award. 'Electric Malady' can be seen at the festival on Friday, 24 June at 12:45, with a second showing taking place Monday, 27 June at 21:00. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
