The last year has seen artists and creatives across the globe responding to the restrictions and challenges posed by the pandemic in innovative and exciting ways. One such act is Scotland’s Chvrches, whose members are currently split between Los Angeles and Glasgow. By the magic of technology (and greenscreen) we have helped them come together to perform in unity for multiple sessions, performances and music videos over the last few months.
Oscar Sansom directed sequences with Iain from the band for promos of new singles 'How Not to Drown' and 'He Said She Said' in Broadscope Studios. Both videos were directed by Scott Kiernan and can be viewed below.
Michael Sherrington directed several sessions with Iain and Jonny in Castlemilk Community Centre with the band’s long-term collaborator Paul “Gal” Gallagher. Lauren and Doc tuned in from Capitol Studios in Los Angeles via video link. The studio session we are internally calling ‘Capitol to Castlemilk’ will be released on the band’s YouTube channel later this year.
